Gobblerfest!

Gobblerfest was a great success!

 

Thanks for coming by to check us out, we look forward to seeing people at our next meeting: September 18th, 7:30 PM in 232 Squires.

We had a lot of fun with demonstrations of packet radio, HF voice and digital, sattelite, and a few homebrew antennas.

Operating in the US under a foreign permit

That describes in a nutshell how to operate amateur radio in the US under a foreign license.  The following is a link to a list of countries with which the US has a reciprocal agreement.

In this area, operating under a reciprocal permit, one would attach a "W4/" prefix to their callsign.

First Antenna Day -- Success!

VTARA members activate Adak Island, Alaska

Three local hams are on Adak Island through the 12th of September in support of their research.

Longtime club member and affiliate, KL7/WA4DOX sent an inspirational message to the listserv after contacting the Adak Island group.
